Spring is my favorite time of the year
a time where new growth is peeking out, the days a bit longer and my cherry trees are in full bloom
Mr. Rabbit keeps an eye on the family while he sits on the mantel. After Easter, he will head outside back to his home in the garden to protect my flowers from the deer.
Some green candles, dressed in their pink best, sit on top of some old white candlesticks
My mossy dragonfly hangs on to an antique window
The Family picture and a painting of my dogs Kara and Kayla. This was a portrait I had made for my husband one Christmas. Unfortunately Kara who is on the right, is now in "Doggie Heaven"
Everything that makes me feel happy, fresh and loved
I love Spring! What are the things that you love about this time of the year?

I so love your style! What a precious family. The candlesticks tied in pink are my favorites! Is that just pick ribbon wrapped around them? Love it! I must bring in my crock from the shop and place in my favorite place to display. My favorite thing about Spring is change and a new beginning. Spring represents newness of life, all that is dead bursting forth to new life!
You're so lucky to have blooms already! Waiting for the forsynthia to bloom (hey, it's technically on the neighbors lawn but he won't mind if I snip off a few sprigs)!
Love the mossy dragonfly too!

Daffodils and apple blossoms...ahhhh And finding easter eggs in late May that the kids somehow missed...
.... with melted chocolate inside!
What a beautiful mantel, Laura! The elements you've chosen work perfectly together ... love your mossy butterfly ... chunky candlesticks ... your cute bunny and, of course, your precious fur babies. And, the portrait of your beautiful family serves as a wonderful background! *Becca* (new follower by way of Grits and Glamour)

Karen- a pack of coyotes. With the weather has warm as it has been ( 80's) all of Spring blooms are actually getting spent already. I cut these branches about a week ago.
thanks for stopping over!
laura
thanks Meg! somehow my mantel would not look the same with fresh powder on the ground outside! You must live in the north west - the only cold place in the country right now.
