I'll Drink to That !

Full Disclosure- I did not drink all the wine bottles  from the corks that you are about to see in this post!  Well, maybe just a few.
I  wanted to make something out of my wine corks for some time now
I mean, I have a lot of corks ( remember- I didn't drink all that wine!) and was looking for a way to creatively use them
I had not just one bucket, but two just sitting around waiting for a project
I had seen some great looking cork boards and chalk boards and thought perhaps I could do a combination of both on the same board
It wasn't easy though, because I had lots of cork that I needed to use
Looking at my new board makes me think of all the wine that I did didn't drink.

Click here for a tutorial on how to drink make this combination chalk/bulletin board. Cheers!

i love it! and there is no shame in having that many corks- it's better than crushed beer cans! i have lots of corks, too.

Very cool Laura, it turned out great. :) I've made a few picture frames out of my huge stash of corks, but unlike you, I am guilty of drinking most of the wine that was once sealed by my corks, hee, hee.

Hi, I found you through the Uncommonly Yours link up party. I am saving corks too and hope to use them to fill in an empty section of the wall in our small wine closet. Thanks for sharing your idea! www.abakershouse.com

I'm saving my corks so slowly I'm getting there! If only white wines didn't have so many screw tops now! I also need a good solution for champagne corks, any ideas? I'm coming back later for the tutorial.

Jessica- I actually put a few champagne corks on the board as fillers. The screw off tops remind me of cheap Boones Farm wine from back in the day ! Strawberry Fields- do you remember that stuff?
