About Me

Hi, I'm Laura Janning. Welcome! I am so glad that you stopped by Top This Top That.  I am the one who lives on a farm, in the middle of North East Georgia raising a family.... with a paint brush in my hand.
This blog is an expression of who I am, what I love to do and how I like to do it. I hope to inspire you with my decor tips, my passion in the garden, my DIY projects and stories about life in the country.

This blog could easily be an hourly, daily or weekly dump of all my pent up creative energy that I am excited to share with you. The timing of course, is all up to my 3 beautiful children , my 6 year twins and my 8 year old and my donkeys.

My husband and my children are the inspiration behind my creativity and passion in making all things WOW!
There is always a project going on in our home and a list that never seems to end. My projects focus mainly on the decor and design of our home and my husband handles everything else.  My husband is not only a loving and caring man, but the best partner to have to tackle those projects.  There is nothing that we won't try to do ourselves. People will often ask, "how in the world do you get it all done". The answer is "we just do". It just may take us a bit longer now with our kids, but that's okay. I will gladly take the half painted wall just to have them in my life.

  3. Laura,
I just met you out in Palm Beach Point. We had a great conversation about people who fail to return a "how do you do" wave. I wanted to check out your blog before I forgot what it was called, so I came in and looked it up right away. Well, I had to laugh because I realized that after such a great talk we hadn't actually introduced ourselves. Hi Laura, I'm Laura Pick.
    Great meeting you,

  4. Cute family Laura. And if your 6 year old was a bit shorter, it would look like triplets - his little brother looks just like him.

  16. Stopping by (a little late) from the UBP. Your children are adorable! I also get asked "How do you do it?" You're right, you just do. I tell people, I just put one foot in front of the other and keep on going.
