This is What All Us Fitness People Want For Christmas

I had about a gazillion of these cookies this weekend ...... they were good, no regrets. So I will be hitting the workouts a bit harder this week. Since August, every morning during the week we drop off the kids at school and head to the track to do our thing.

Thank You- Wonderful Teachers!

I just think the world of the wonderful teachers that my children have been blessed to have this year. Each has had an enormous amount of love and patience for my children and as a mom I certainly can't thank them enough.

With just a few days left of school and my oldest graduating... kindergarten,  I am sending the kids off today with an end of the year gift for each of their teachers.

I thought the teachers might look a little more stylish bringing this bag to schoo. This bag is also perfect to use for the beach, spa, school or shopping.

I got these bags at Hobby Lobby...for next to nothing with the 50% coupon. I decided to personalize each of the bags with the teachers initial. I did this two ways. With some, I used iron on fabric (M) and on others I stenciled fabric paint (C).

I couldn't find a bag big enough for my thanks and appreciation so I hope they will enjoy this one........

and leave the big old canvas one at home!

My "Something" has arrived!

I can't lie, I have anxiously been waiting for "something" to arrive and today it did!
You see, a few weeks back my buddy Linda over at It All Started With Paint asked if I would like to participate in an event called Pass It On. The idea being that I would receive "something" wonderfully handmade for me, and I in turn would reciprocate and make something handmade for someone too.
What a wonderful idea and what wonderful pillows I received
They are looking awesome in my family room as I sit back and wonder what I will be making to pass it on to someone else
Who knows, maybe you will be my lucky recipient.

Love Fest- Teacher Gifts for Valentines Day

I wanted my children to bring a little sweetness to their teachers this year for Valentines Day. If their teachers are anything like me, I knew that the gift had to be candy chocolate. So, I came up with these cute, inexpensive candy jars using recycled jars and my burlap hearts that I showed you the other day.

Simply tie the burlap heart around the jar and spray paint the lids, you don't want vlasic pickles to be visible with Hershey kisses inside!
Just in case I was wrong about the chocolate fill them up with something else.
And so my sweet friends, you won't find any of my other weekly wow's this week because there are no bigger "WOW's" then you.  Happy Valentines.

Check out what I got for Christmas!

For several months now I have been dreaming about a necklace that I wanted. It all started when someone was giving a shout out to  Lisa Leonard Designs. So I went to her web site and fell in love with her stuff. So I thought, what  better time then Christmas to get her petite original necklace with my kids names on it. If you sign up for her newsletter you will receive 15% off your order.
This is a necklace that I love not only because it makes me feel close to my kids when were not together, but also looks great too! Make sure you put this on your wish list.
